10 Premier League Transfers That Won't Happen This Summer
10. Wilfried Zaha To QPR/West Ham/Newcastle
There has been much speculation at Manchester United this summer of something of a fire sale. The word used by most papers is 'exodus'. Under David Moyes last season, United finished a disappointing seventh, and missed out on both the Champions League and its lesser sister competition the Europa League. And now, the club are ready to flog off a bunch of players, gossip would have you believe. One of the names tipped to leave Old Trafford at some point this month is Wilfried Zaha. The winger struggled under Moyes last term and was loaned out to Cardiff City for the second half of 2013-14. And now, the likes of Newcastle, QPR and West Ham are all keen to sign the England international. But one snippet of info papers usually leave out of any article written about Zaha's supposedly-impending departure from the Theatre of Dreams is that the player has previously said new manager Louis van Gaal has faith in him and is willing to keep him at the club. Zaha said recently:
Louis van Gaal has let me know that he believes in me. I cant tell whats going to happen with the club in the future. But we have a great manager and Im sure he will change things here.
