10 Reasons UFC Woman's Champion Ronda Rousey Might Lose Her Belt Within A Year

10. Girls Are Gunning For Her

Make no mistake: Ronda Rousey is a marked woman. So is her stable (Bethe Correia has vowed to defeat all of them, or at least the three that are in the UFC - Jessamyn Duke, who she has already taken out, Shayna Baszler, who she faces next, and Rousey herself). You're always marked when you're at the top, but it's especially true for Rousey, for a number of reasons. Her brash personality and trash talking have offended some potential opponents. Others may feel she's been given too much credit for putting women's MMA on the map, especially when there were stars like Megumi Fumi and Gina Carano before her. Then there's her recent comments that she wants to be the highest paid actor in Hollywood - despite having taken part in just three film roles thus far in her career, two of which are still very far away from being released, and none of which can be considered starring roles. You can't expect fighters taking the sport seriously full time, needing it as their bread and butter, to be too happy about that.
