10 Reasons To Watch Anderson Silva vs Nick Diaz At UFC 183
9. Curiosity Factor: Will Silva Throw Kicks?
Silva suffered a brutal leg break at UFC 168 when Chris Weidman checked a kick. And like a child who touched a hot stove, Silva may not want to repeat his actions. That is a concern. Silva's kicks are a large part of his arsenal. Without them, he's almost a one-dimensional fighter. His hands are good, but he has little in the way of wrestling ability, and has struggled the most against wrestlers - see Sonnen, Chael. His kicks create space, and do serious damage. Will he rely on them once more? We'll find out in January.
