10 Reasons You SHOULD Care About Super Bowl LIV

7. Dazzling Individual Matchups With Big Names On Both Sides!

Even if you're not familiar with either team, you’ll certainly know several names after watching this game. Aside from the aforementioned superstar Patrick Mahomes, who could be set to ascend to a new stratosphere of fame, the upcoming contest is filled with tantalising individual talents who’ll be locking horns all over the field.

The 49ers’ defence, though unquestionably dominant, will have their hands full in trying to contain both the gigantic tight end Travis Kelce and the speed demon Tyreek Hill. In particular, the matchup between San Francisco cornerback Richard Sherman, coming off a tremendous season, and KC’s agile receivers will be key.

Of course, there’s every chance that the vaunted 49ers’ defensive line will dictate the game. Surefire defensive rookie of the year Nick Bosa and his burly teammates will be pressuring Mahomes from the start, aiming to disrupt KC’s star quarterback as violently as they can in preventing him from launching those dangerous passes.

San Francisco’s attackers, too, have their own weapons sure to make a definite impression. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo hasn’t needed to do much recently, but when the run game is as strong as it has been, why should he?

And there’s one player in particular capable of plowing across the field no matter where he catches the pigskin. Check out 49ers tight end George Kittle, known as much for his ability to steamroll opponents in clearing paths for his teammates as he is for racking up yards with the ball. The Chiefs’ defence, commanded by the tenacious Tyrann Matthieu, will need to be on their game in bringing the behemoth Kittle to the ground.

These fascinating matchups are a major reason this is considered the most anticipated Super Bowl in years!
