https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgzMFk4I_KI Kei Nishikori was no doubt hugely disappointed to lose the US Open final in straight sets, but while he may not have found a way to quell the firepower of Cilic there is every chance we will be seeing more of him at the business end of major tournaments. The Japanese player became the first from his nation to reach a grand slam final in the Open era, producing outstanding performances to outlast Milos Raonic and Stanislas Wawrinka in five-set epics en route to the semi-final. There, he faced Novak Djokovic the world number one and arguably the toughest physical competitor on the tour and defied both the odds and the sweltering heat to beat the Serb in four sets. Named ATP Newcomer of the Year in 2008, Nishikoris talents are well known on the tennis circuit, but numerous injury problems have slowed his progress. Hopefully, these troubles are now behind him and the best is yet to come. Why he could take over the sport: Few believe Nishikori can go on to dominate tennis, but then even fewer gave him much chance of beating Djokovic in New York. Nishikori is a fine shot maker and a tremendous athlete, but standing at just five foot ten his physical limitations are always likely to be a factor when faced with the brute force of players like Cilic.
I watch movies and I watch sport. I also watch movies about sport, and if there were a sport about movies I'd watch that too. The internet was the closest thing I could find.
