3. Everton Have A Plan To Get Him Fit

The Russian Premier League has been on a winter break since mid-December, so match fitness could be an issue for Niasse upon his arrival on Merseyside - but Martinez has put a plan in place to whip him into peak shape. The Spaniard has drawn up a 45-60 session programme to help his new recruit regain match sharpness, but these preparations include game time, with Niasse in contention to play a part in the upcoming fixtures against Stoke City, West Brom and Bournemouth. €œBut you always work around a 45-60 session programme in order to peak. We could do that in three weeks but I want the games to be part of that preparation,€ the Liverpool Echo quotes Martinez as saying. €œI don€™t want him to be away from the group or away from competitive games.€
