10 Things Tiger Woods Wants You To Forget

9. Lowest World Ranking Since 1996 In 2011 €“ 58th In The World

This is the first entry on the list that deals with the infamous €œTiger Scandal€ of 2009. While the details of the scandal will be discussed later in this list, the effect on his golf was very apparent and saw him slip down the world rankings to his lowest point in 15 years. Tiger holds the unbelievable record of being in the number one spot for a total of 683 weeks, a number that nobody comes within 300 weeks of, and has only recently dropped out of the number one spot again thanks to his recent back surgery. When Tiger slipped to 58th in the world in 2011 it looked as though he may never return to the form that he once held when he dominated the game several years before. He has, however, since returned to form and won 5 tournaments last season including a WGC and The Players at TPC Sawgrass. Tiger will want his fans to forget the in between years that saw his game and his personal life changing a great deal and he will want people to focus on the fact that he can win major championships again and will be aiming to do so as soon as he returns from injury.
