10 Things UFC Wants You To Forget About Chael Sonnen

10. Beef With LeBron

Over the years Sonnen has attempted to anger, upset and annoy all manner of fighters, celebrities and people of note (some of which will be discussed later in this list) but none of his targets have been more high-profile than four-time MVP LeBron James. Speaking to Bleacher Report, Chael made the following damning accusations about Miami Heat€™s forward:
Let me tell you a story about LeBron. He asked the UFC for tickets for my fight against Anderson Silva. We sit the guy front row, and all through the night he snubs our fans. He€™s a guest in our house and he refuses to sign any autographs or take any pictures unless your cup size was later in the alphabet than he was able to learn ... I had a UFC employee tell me he saw a mother wheel her handicapped child up to him to get a picture. LeBron was walking towards them. When he reached the kid, the mother stopped the wheelchair. LeBron took the wheelchair, wheeled it out of the way and kept walking. I€™d like to slap the divots right off his face.
Though he was typically outspoken in his criticisms of the biggest star of the NBA, he never managed to provoke a response out of James. We know for a fact that LeBron was in attendance at UFC 148 but it is a difficult task believing that Chael€™s indictments are true. Not only is James a known philanthropist but it is hard to believe that even the most malevolent of celebrities would be stupid enough to act in such a way in a public place. The UFC are known for welcoming celebrity guests to sit Octagon-side so having one of their fighters insulting one of the most famous men on the planet is surely something they€™d love us (and LeBron) to all to forget.
