10 Toughest UFC Heavyweights Active Today

8. Josh Barnett

Josh Barnett, frankly, has been through some wars. The former UFC heavyweight champion has fought all over the world, and is still going strong. In Strikeforce, he made it all the way to the finals of the heavyweight tournament, losing in the last bout against Daniel Cormier, one of the top prospects to come out of that organization. Oh, and both men broke their hand in that fight. And finished it. A five round fight, to be specific. Speaking of Daniel Cormier, he'd be on this list too if he hadn't dropped down to light heavyweight. If you don't believe fighting several rounds with a broken hand is tough then we don't know what will sell you on it, but since returning to the UFC Barnett has gone 1-1 with a win over Frank Mir and a loss to top five fight Travis Browne. He also became the first man to submit Dean Lister in Jiu-Jitsu at Metamoris this year.
