Another Pride legend. Hendo has done it all - except win gold in the UFC. And that seems to be keeping him around well past his "best before" date. Hendo is 43 years old at the moment, coming off a decisive loss to Daniel Cormier in which he was thrown around like a rag doll by a much younger, stronger man. He's in essence fighting above his weight, and while a drop to middleweight might buy him a fight or two, the reality is that Henderson - who has 42 fights for his 43 years - is at the end of his run. He knows it. He's 1-4 in his last five, with his only win being a come-from-behind knockout of another legend, Shogun Rua (who could easily be on this list himself). His main weapon, the powerful H-bomb, as his right hand is otherwise known as, has kept him in the game, and that's what is keeping him in fights. There's always the "what if he connects" factor. Fact is, power stays around long past when the agility, speed, and chin go. Thus far, Henderson's chin has held up - but he's a prime candidate for CTE later in life, and if he wants to have any quality of living in his old age, he needs to walk away from the game. Forget a UFC belt. You don't need it when you're already a legend.
