10 Ways To Rebuild Man Utd This Summer

Last season went from disaster to nightmare as Man Utd fans for the first time in recent memory experienced complete and utter disappointment and failure in a football season. But the short lived Moyes-era is over and as Louis Van Gaal€™s arrival appears imminent, it is time for the club to look at how to rebuild ahead of the 2014/15 season. It is vital for the club to move forward quickly both on and off the field so not to lose further ground to local rivals Manchester City and Liverpool, as well as keeping pace with both Chelsea and Arsenal who are primed to strengthen over the summer. New faces are needed almost as much as a change in mentality and style - the following on from Ferguson experiment failed and now it is time to reinvigorate the team. If/when Louis Van Gaal takes over the fans can expect a dramatic reshaping of the club from academy to first team level. Van Gaal oversaw the wholesale changes at Ajax, Barcelona and Bayern Munich (shaping much of the current teams for the latter) so there are reasons for Man Utd fans to be optimistic. A club the size of Manchester United will not stagnate, and a summer of change is ahead. These are the ten ways the club can rebuild this summer.
