11 Best Players In The Premier League's Top 6 Teams
5. Aaron Ramsey
Has there been a more vastly improved player in the Premier League over the last 12 months than Ramsey? The 23-year-old has gone from being one of the least popular players at Arsenal to the man who inspires them time and time again when they are crying out for a bit of inspiration. His broken leg against Stoke in 2010 was a horrific moment for the then 19-year-old, and it's easy to forget that, during his dark days of getting booed by his own fans, he was still very much recovering from a career-threatening injury. A lot of peoples knee-jerk reaction was to say he was overrated, but he is now showing exactly why he was so highly-rated during his Cardiff City days. Last season was very much the year the Welshman came of age. He scored 16 goals in just 35 games from midfield, and it would have been even more impressive had injury not scuppered his campaign at the midway point. Before his spell on the sidelines around Christmas time, Ramsey had arguably been the Premier League's Player of the Year along with Luis Suarez. This season the likeable Wales star has started in a similar vein of form, with three goals in his first four games. He is maturing into a world-class midfielder, and his dynamism, skill, creativity and work-rate means he has all the attributes to become a future Gunners legend.
