Score: 0-1 (The goal put Spurs 1-0 up) There was nothing particularly special about the quality or execution of this goal - but it was undoubtedly the most important one Spurs have scored since the Premier League began and, therefore, it is certainly the most memorable. There were two games remaining in the Premier League season. Spurs were fourth in the table, Manchester City were fifth. Spurs were on 67 points, Manchester City were on 66. City's goal difference was one better than Spurs. A win would have put City two points ahead of Spurs with a game to go, a draw would have maintained the status quo and a Spurs win would ensure they qualified for the Champions League for the first time. Spurs dominated proceedings but couldn't find a breakthrough - that is until Peter Crouch struck with eight minutes left on the clock. Younes Kaboul's deflected cross could only be parried by on-loan goalkeeper Marton Fulop and Crouch headed it in to the net - cue massive celebrations.
