11 Reasons Spurs Fans Should Be Concerned

5. They're Struggling For Goals

Just as detrimental as their tendency to concede too many goals, Spurs are struggling to score them as well. As we've already touched upon, Spurs have conceded more goals than they've scored in the Premier League and that is largely due to the fact that their playing style does not suit their strikers. Neither Emmanuel Adebayor, Roberto Soldado nor Harry Kane is suited to playing in the lone striker role and Mauricio Pochettino failed to land a striker who can play that role in the summer transfer window. Spurs' top scorer is currently midfielder Nacer Chadli, with four to his name this season. Pochettino must address the issue, either by playing with two strikers up front or by signing a striker who is capable of playing in his preferred formation in January.
