Together at Manchester United the duo of Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney tore many a defence to shreds and brought many a piece of silverware to Old Trafford. Before butting heads internationally, the teenage pair faced off in the Premiership when Rooney was breaking through at boyhood club Everton. This photo was taken during the 2003/04 season. Rooney would join Ronaldo at United in August 2004 for a hefty £25.6 million.
