Though Mbia comes with good pedigree, there have always been doubts surrounding his temperament and discipline. He did win Ligue 1 with Marseille and the Europa League twice with Sevilla, but following a short spell in Turkey with Trabzonspor, China came calling. Mbia, similarly to Gervinho, also signed for Hebei China Fortune last month. The player declared himself "ready for the adventure" ahead of the move.
