15 Worst Ever Man Utd Premier League Signings

15. Wilfried Zaha

The inclusion of Wilfried Zaha on this list is not so much an indicator on the player he could be, just on how he proved to be a flop during his time at Manchester United. After making his Crystal Palace debut in 2010 at the age of just 17, Zaha became one of the most sought after talents of the English game over the next couple of seasons and even broke into the England set-up. He would eventually agree to join United for the 2013/14 season in what would be the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson's last ever signing for the Red Devils. Under new manager David Moyes, Zaha's playing time was massively restricted, with some putting this down to the pacey forward's extra-curricular activities with Moyes' daughter. Let's just hope she at least got her looks from her mum. Fast forward just a year later and Zaha would essentially be out of the door at United. After his first season saw him farmed out to Cardiff City on loan, August 2014 saw him loaned out to Crystal Palace in a move that would become permanent during the January 2015 transfer window. Zaha has started to show glimpses of his potential again at Selhurst Park, but his time at Old Trafford was a torrid one, best remembered for a half-decent 60 minutes against Wigan in the Community Shield. It took between a rumoured £15 million to take Zaha to the Theatre of Dreams. He would make just two appearances before returning to Palace for a fee believed to be £3 million which could rise to £6 million and also includes a percentage of any future transfer.
