20 Hardest Football Hardmen Of All Time

11. Vinnie Jones

Part of the Wimbledon €˜Crazy Gang€™ outfit that won the FA Cup in 1988, Jones spent the vast majority of his career at Wimbledon during two spells at the club. Jones was labelled as having a €˜hard man image€™ throughout his career, which he came into criticism for, although this may have been justified due to his 12 red cards during his time on the pitch. Perhaps Jones€™ most infamous incident came in 1987, when he was photographed grabbing the testicles of Paul Gascoigne, in order to try to nullify the threat of the young Geordie. These days, Jones earns a living by playing the hard man on the big screen, making his acting debut in 1998 in Guy Ritchie€™s €™Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels€™, and has gone on to make appearances in €˜Snatch€™ and €˜Mean Machine€™, amongst others.
