20 Incredible Joe Rogan Experience Episodes Every Fight Fan Must Watch

15. JRE MMA Show 85 - Max Holloway

Considering the mental and physical devastation that comes with a loss, it's completely understandable that a fighter wouldn't want to go on a show as big as the JRE after suffering one. However, most fighters don't have a personality like UFC featherweight, Max Holloway.

The former 145lb champion joined the Rogan in his studio following his title loss to Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 245. However, if you thought this podcast would be full of doom and gloom then you'd be mistaken. Despite the crushing disappointment he must've felt, Holloway still manages to be his hilarious and charming self throughout the show, sharing his thoughts on the bout and what is next for him in the future.

Although there are plenty of memorable moments on this particular episode, one of the funniest and most surprising stories happens near the end when Holloway gleefully admits that when he began competing in the UFC, he figured out what combinations to use during his fights by playing the UFC video game.

As impressive as that is, we suggest that you don't get any grand ideas about becoming the next UFC champion by button bashing on your controller.
