Alan Pardew's pitch-side fracas Hull's David Meyler earned the Newcastle manager a three-game stadium ban, and a further four-game touchline ban too. Meyler, in attempting to retrieve the ball from the dugout area, pushed bass Pardew in an attempt to restart play quickly. Believing this to be an aggressive act, the Magpies' boss stuck his forehead into the midfielder's face, costing him a combined £160,000 in fines from the club and the FA.
