20 Reasons Why Celtic Fans Are Jealous Of Rangers

15. Celtic Players Say They Miss Rangers

At first, Celtic seemed to really be enjoying a Rangers-free environment. After all, they were now the only dominant team in the top league, and in reality could have won it at a canter over the past few seasons. The media may like to paint a pretty picture of teams like Dundee United, Motherwell and - latterly - Aberdeen challenging for the championship, but reality dictates that they're still nowhere near a proper, sustained challenge. Over the past 2 years, this has led several Celtic players to come out and say outright that they miss playing Rangers. Of course they do, and it's fair to say that some Rangers players would feel the same way, but by coming out and saying it, it shows just how bored Celtic are by the lack of competition in the Scottish game. However, this is what these clubs asked for by voting the Gers down in 2012. Charlie Mulgrew misses playing Rangers, which is hardly surprising given that the next 'big' game is against lowly Aberdeen. Hardly inspiring, worldwide stuff.
