Ibrox Stadium was rocking for the Premiership Playoff Final between Rangers and Motherwell recently. Fans were shocked to see their blue heroes roll over so easily to the Lanarkshire side, who surely deserved to win the tie over both legs. A 6-1 aggregate score doesn't lie, Rangers were ill-equipped to haul themselves back to the Scottish Premiership. With that in mind, it's stunning that Rangers fans continue to come out in the vast numbers they do. Even after all that has happened over the past 3/4 years, the club's followers remain as loyal as ever, a true testament to how much they love their club. No doubt about it, it's not a stick on that just any club's fans would do the same, but Rangers supporters have shown it's not just about the glory, this team means a lot to them. Pulling in crowds of 45-50,000 for games against Motherwell, Hibernian and Hearts has been the way it's always been, but by doing the same against the likes of Berwick Rangers, Dunfermline and other smaller clubs, Rangers fans have outlined that it's really irrelevant who they face, they will follow on regardless.
