25 Worst Premier League Signings Ever

24. Radamel Falcao

Pato's current team mate at Chelsea, Falcao, has too endured a similarly torrid time in England. Once a phenomenal force in European football at Porto and Athletico Madrid, and arguably the best striker in Europe for a time, a serious knee ligament injury brought his career to a abrupt halt whilst at Monaco.

Hoping to revive his faltering career, Manchester United took a punt on the Columbian, coughing up £6m for a loan deal (yes, a LOAN deal) to bring him to Old Trafford. Unfortunately for the Red Devils, the gamble didn't pay off, and Falcao scored a measly four goals in twenty-nine appearances, picking up an eye-watering £265,000 a week in wages.

A massive mistake from the Reds, and a costly one at that.
