5 Blockbuster Fights UFC Should Make (And 5 They Never Did)

1. Should Book - Jon Jones Vs. Brock Lesnar

(For this to work, let's all just assume that Jones doesn't get suspended, or possibly completely banished, from the UFC for another failed drug test, okay? OKAY!? Cool. High five.)

At this point, making this fight is just common sense. Jon Jones called out Brock Lesnar after winning back the light heavyweight championship and all signs point to Lesnar prepping himself for a return to the UFC so he can take this fight. A fight between these two, two of the biggest draws in combat sports right now, would receive massive interest from casual fans and the mainstream media, and would make every single person involved a massive pile of money.

The fight would likely be at heavyweight, as there's almost zero chance Brock can get anywhere near the 205 pound light heavyweight limit on his normal diet of dying stars and whole zebras, but that won't matter. Jones' massive 84 inch reach and once-in-a-generation brilliance gives him a clear advantage in the striking department, and his wrestling is strong enough to at least fend off Lesnar's take downs.

This is a gimme. The UFC would have to be aggressively stupid not to do everything in their power to make this fight happen.
