It's a shame that Ronda Rousey and Cris Cyborg will never meet in the cage. Hindsight being 20/20, it's probably a good thing that this mega fight never happened, as Rousey's soul crushing losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes exposed her extremely limited striking capabilities and Cyborg is the be all, end all of strikers in Women's MMA. Still, a battle between these two women, both pioneers of something Dana White said would never be in the UFC, would have been a landmark battle in the sport's history.

This fight had money written all over it. At her apex, Ronda Rousey was a cultural phenomenon. She captivated casual fans more than anyone in UFC history, besides maybe Conor McGregor, and her winning streak was a violent rampage the world hadn't seen since prime Mike Tyson. Cyborg, on the other hand, was essentially a folk hero to hardcore MMA fans with a list of victims a mile long. Many saw her as the only true challenger to Rousey's dominance. Best of all, from a booking standpoint, the two absolutely hated each other.

In an alternate universe somewhere, there's a Scrooge McDuck-ian vault filled with all the money this fight would have made.
