4. Melvin Gordon, Wisconsin (206 carries, 1,609 yards, 12 TDs)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgJ3yMytR5Y Had Melvin Gordon chose to forgo his Junior season at Wisconsin, he most likely have been among the first few Running Backs taken off the board during the NFL Draft, but he chose to stay one more year and leave a legacy as a Badger. He may have had to split carries with Senior James White, but that didn't make him or the Badgers offense any less effective. In fact, White and Gordon combined for over 3,000 rushing yards in 2013, more than what 107 FBS programs had for the whole year. Gordon hit the national spotlight after 193-yard outing in a "Loss" to Arizona State in Tempe this season (see
this to see why I put loss in quotes). Even with the loss of teammate James White, Gordon should still bring his explosive speed to the forefront of the Badgers offense in 2014, and will be tested early in a Week 1 tilt vs. LSU in Reliant Stadium in Houston.
