4. The Next Light Heavyweight Challenger Is Liam McGeary
Liam McGeary was losing his light heavyweight tournament final fight against Kelly Anundson until he won it. In other words, Anundson was controlling the fight, landing elbows, and McGeary was on bottom. However, his attack from the bottom was strong. He attempted a keylock from the bottom, a rarely seen move - but it actually had a shot. Then he locked in a reverse triangle from the bottom, equally as rare - and the fight was over. Anundson had tapped. Slick move. Slick fight. We can't wait for McGeary, who improves to 9-0, to meet Newton for the belt. McGeary will definitely have the edge on the ground, and he has a huge height and reach advantage over the champion.
