5 Lessons Learned From Bellator 124

2. The Women's Featherwieghts Can't Get Here Soon Enough

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJn2EL9L3Mc It has become apparent, thanks to the lack of tournaments moving forward, how thin Bellator is right now. The tournament format gave fans a reason to watch. Without them, Bellator is running on name value only - and name value is something they don't have a lot of. Next week's card is headline by Doug Marshall vs. Melvin Manhoeff. Does anyone care about Marshall, who hasn't really lived up to his potential, or Manhoeff, who is past his prime? We'll see - but the sooner Marloes Coenen and a few other girls can headline a card, the better. All the promos this evening for next week's Bellator 125 did nothing to sell us on it.
