Weight Class: Lightweight Cowboy Cerrone (25-6-0, 1NC) probably had the best 2014 of any fighter, and has made all sorts of year-end top ten lists. 4-0 for the year with three performance bonuses, he's put himself in a position to be a key figure in the UFC's lightweight division in 2015. He's a main event or co-main event caliber fighter at this point, and the fans love him. For his first bout of 2015, he meets the undefeated Myles Jury (15-0), who is coming off wins over Diego Sanchez and Takanori Gomi. Jury is one of the better fighters to come out of The Ultimate Fighter over the past few years, and has quietly built up his record. Sanchez and Gomi are the biggest wins for him to date, but Cowboy represents a whole other level. Jury has one of the best striking defenses in the UFC, but it's hard to envision him winning against Cowboy - Cerrone has been just too good of late, and may find himself with a title shot in 2015. The only problem is that he has already lost to champ Anthony Pettis in a non-title bout. In any case, Cerrone by decision in this one.
