5 Players Chelsea MUST Sign This Summer

The Blues have had a bit of a thing for creative Spaniards over the last few years and that looks set to continue with their ongoing links to the Real Madrid rising star.

Having grabbed headlines when he first started at Madrid, he's become a bit-part player having fallen down Zidane's pecking order. Not happy with the lack of regular first team football, the playmaker wants opportunities and has been rumoured to be involved in a spectacular swap deal.

If Real Madrid attempt to sign Eden Hazard, Asensio has told teammates he'll move to Chelsea in exchange. There, he could have a team built around him as their new number 10 and form a lethal partnership with former team-mate Alvaro Morata.

Another signing with a view to the future, he could step into the boots of Cesc Fabregas to become the go-to man when it comes to link-up play and commencing attacks.

With Roman Abramovic apparently an admirer of the Spaniard too, expect Chelsea to do all they can to make this transfer happen.
