5. Sam Hird - Chesterfield
Recently relegated Chesterfield are one of the major contenders to go straight back up again and with signings like this one I dont think too many people can disagree! Hird has played the majority of his career for local rivals Doncaster Rovers and enjoyed a loan spell at Grimsby Town earlier in his career. Interesting fact, Hird started his career as a striker at Aston Villa, but after his move to Leeds became a strong defender.
4. Gavin Hoyte - Dagenham and Redbridge
Any player that goes immediately from the Premier League to the lower leagues is going to be considered as a coup, but Hoyte really is that. From the glitz and the glamour of Arsenals Emirates Stadium to truly finding out if the only way is indeed, Essex. His desire to play regularly has been shown with constant loan spells to football league clubs including Watford and Brighton. Known for his acceleration Hoyte will bring a lot of experience for a guy who is only 21, and will be a good strong defender for any team at this level.
