That said, after shaky starts, the majority of the new players at the club are starting to gel. Christian Eriksen is starting to unlock defences and chip in with goals of his own, Etienne Capoue is looking solid, getting more game time and scored his first goal against Manchester City, Nacer Chadli scored an absolute belter against Newcastle, Paulinho is an integral part of the midfield who has looked exceptional on his best days and has provided a few goals and Vlad Chiriches has looked solid defensively every time he's played. It's really only down to Roberto Soldado and Erik Lamela to show that they have what it takes to flourish in the English Premier League, because the other five new boys have at least shown hints. When Spurs and their newest stars have been at their best this season, they've looked like they could beat anyone. And, if gelling means that they play like that more consistently, there is no reason why next season can't be a hugely successful one for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
