1. These Girls Can Finish - And They're Exciting
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgnPWudcdLU There were seven finishes on season twenty of The Ultimate Fighter, the majority of them submissions. There were also a couple of them at the TUF 20 finale. That's important, because it answers critics who claim that women, especially smaller women, don't finish fights. Tell that to Rose Namajunas, tell it to Felice Herrig, tell it to Paige Van Zant, who missed out on TUF but won via TKO in her first fight just a few weeks ago. In the end, it helps prove something those of us who watched women's MMA already knew: these girls are exciting. They're a welcome addition to the UFC, and they're going to be around for a long time to come! Felice, Randa, Carla, Tecia, Rose, Joanne - these are girls we want to see more of! And then there's Carla Esparza, who became the first ever UFC strawweight champ in an exciting main event Friday. We'll be seeing lots of her - and she will definitely entertain!
