4. Carlo Ancelotti Gave Him His Debut For AC Milan

Darmian is a product of the AC Milan youth academy and was given his debut for the Rossoneri in 2006 by former Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti. Aged just 16 he struggled to make the transition from youth team captain to first team regular and his opportunities at the San Siro were limited.
