Today saw several youngsters get a chance to impress, including Jay-Jay Okocha's nephew Alex Iwobi, who started on the left wing. Iwobi, Emiliano Martinez and Chuba Akpom were also joined on the field by Gideon Zelalem, Chris Willock and Dan Crowley in the second half, all three of which looked more than comfortable in the senior side.

Crowley looked especially comfortable, trying an audacious chip from 30 yards towards the end of the game, and narrowly missing. Make no mistake, though Arsene Wenger is now spending big money on big players, the Arsenal youth academy is still churning out some fantastic talent.

Expect to see some of the names mentioned above in the Arsenal first team in years to come - the future is bright for the North London club.
