It€™s pretty surreal to think that Rousey has already faced three different female fighters during Zingano€™s current injury rehab. Rousey vs Zingano was first scheduled to occur at some point in the end of 2013. Now we could be nearing the end of 2014, where this fight could finally happen. However, UFC might still be hesitant on scheduling that fight right away. Zingano has been out for over a year and facing Rousey instantly would be an insurmountable task. A tune up fight would be a wise decision, even if it means she has to put her number one contender status on the line. How can she go right into a fight with Rousey, especially after seeing how dominant the Rowdy One has been? Zingano doesn't have great takedown defence and is still relatively unproven at the top level. Her upset over Miesha Tate was incredible, but the jury is still out on her overall ability. We know that if you get into wild exchanges with Rousey, the fight isn't going to end very well for the challenger. Zingano will have to revamp her game plan from what it was against Tate. She€™ll end up on her back instantly if she attempts to be wild with her striking.
