3. Chael Sonnen
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbb-lZu0O78 It says a lot about the charismatic Oregon native that despite challenging for a UFC World title twice in recent history losing both times to Middleweight King Anderson Silva - many fans are still excited by the prospect of a third shot at UFC gold. Were it not for Johnny Bones refusing to accept Sonnen as a last minute replacement for Dan Henderson at UFC 151, Chael would already have talked his way into a title shot. Make no mistake though, any fan who thinks Sonnen is all talk is misguided. Nobody has come closer in the UFC to defeating pound for pound king Anderson Silva. Of course, even in that career defining performance in their first fight Chael still lost. The Light-Heavyweight Champion is an even worse style match for him. Sonnen struggled in the clinch against Michael Bisping in January of this year and Jones is better and significantly more violent in the same position than Britains number one MMA star. Sonnen will have to find a way to power through Jones and drag him to the mat, and hold him there, not just once but enough to avoid being stopped and win at least three rounds in the process. Relevant Wins: Michael Bisping, Yushin Okami Telling Defeats: Anderson Silva x 2 Question Marks: How well will size and strength advantage carry up from 185 to 205 Route to Victory: Five takedowns, no mistakes
