One of the first things fans pouring out of the tube station witnessed was a gorgeous view of Wembley Way and the backdrop of that stadium itself. It was an impressive, breath-taking visual from the top of some steps, and it helped jolt thousands into life after being nose-to-nose with other punters on the train for 40 minutes.

The NFL did a fine job of making it feel like the place belonged to them.

Banners splashed colour across the streets, helpful signs made it hard to get lost, and staff eagerly sold programs, t-shirts and other merch items with a smile. It was almost intoxicating, and it was a far cry from the relative disappointment of the aforementioned Tailgate.

It was impossible not to notice how much energy the UK has for this sport. People eagerly gobbled up everything NFL they could before heading to the stadium. Once there, men, women and children alike were swept off their feet by the league's majestic aura.
