17. Mauro Icardi (Inter Milan)
At the age of just 15, Mauro Icardi found his services being fought over by Real Madrid and Barcelona. He ended up in Catalan, and although it didn't quite work out in the five years he spent there, things haven't gone too badly for him since. Now aged 23, he was made the captain of Inter at the beginning of this season, and the striker's seven goals so far this season have helped the Nerazzurri to the top of the table, after a few seasons of struggles. With the captaincy, good form, and a possible title on the way, 2016 looks like being the best year yet of Icardi's still young career.
