6 Main Card Predictions For UFC Fight Night - MacDonald vs. Saffiedine

5. Li Jingliang vs. Nordine Taleb

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_KsJzeBJwE Weight Class: Welterweight Nordine Taleb (9-2) may be the only fighter to ever appear on two editions of The Ultimate Fight, lose both, but still wind up fighting in the UFC. What got him there? Heart. There's no questioning the guy's heart. He was the spiritual leader of Team Canada during The Ultimate Fighter Nations: Canada vs. Australia, but lost in his first fight after making it into the house. He also appeared on TUF 19 (Edgar vs. Penn), but lost a fantastic fight against Mike King, failing to make it into the house. Despite that, the UFC brought him back. In fact, he fought in the UFC prior to his TUF 19 episode even airing, so the cat was pretty much out of the back at that point. However he picked up a win in that first fight, at long last having luck go his way as he took home a unanimous decision win over Vik Grujic at the TUF Nations finale. For his second bout in the UFC he takes on Chinese MMA star Li Jingliang. Jingliang is part of the UFC's push into China, with a 9-2 record and 1-0 in the UFC so far. However, despite their relatively comparable records as pros, this is a big step up for Jingliang. He has a time difference, fan support, and grit all against him, and Taleb is likely to be the toughest fight he's ever had. Our call: Nordine Taleb by TKO in the first.
