At UFC 113, English fighter Paul Daley had a match against Josh Koscheck that would potentially pit the winner against champ Georges St. Pierre. Koscheck talked a lot of trash in the build up to the fight, as he is wont to do. Daley apparently let it get to him. The fight went the distance, with Koscheck controlling all three rounds. After the final bell, Daley approached Koscheck, who was not looking directly at him; it appeared almost as if they'd simply congratulate each other, as fighters often tend to do even when there is considerable heat in the lead up to a fight. Instead, Daley threw a sucker punch at Koscheck, and was banished from the UFC for life. According to Dana White, Daley even initially denied throwing the sucker punch, despite it being on video all over the world.
