35. Ian Walker
Main Position: Goalkeeper. Time With Spurs: 1989-2001. The longest serving goalkeeper that Tottenham have had throughout the Premiership years is Ian Walker. The 4 time capped England international made a total of 314 appearances for Spurs, after having replaced Erik Thorstvedt between the posts. Walker had joined the club as a trainee when he was a schoolboy. Walker was in goal for Spurs as they captured the League Cup against Leicester in 1999 and it would be Leicester for whom he would play after his departure from the club. Neil Sullivan had ousted him from the first team, so Walker handed in a transfer request in 2001 and was sold to the Foxes for
£2.5m. He left Leicester for Bolton in 2005 but did not play a single game for the club and retired in 2008. He has since managed non-league Bishop's Stortford and is currently the goalkeeping coach at Chinese club Shanghai Shehua. He is 41 years old.
34. Niko Kranjar
Main Position: Attacking Midfielder. Time With Spurs: 2009-2012. Hugely underutilised at Spurs, Croatian international midfielder Kranjcar still made a decent impact and was very well liked by the fans following his bargain
£2m move from Portsmouth in 2009. Kranjcar made a total of 72 appearances for Spurs, scoring 11 goals. He suffered from the fact that his position was the same as that of the then up-and-coming Gareth Bale, which hampered his progress, but his quality still shone whenever he played. This fact is emphasised by an instance in 2010 when Bale was out injured; Tottenham started with Kranjcar in two back-to-back matches and he scored the winner in both - against Bolton Wanderers in a 21 victory at White Hart Lane and away to Sunderland in another 21 victory. He was sold to Dynamo Kiev in June of 2012 for
£5.5m and still plays there now.
33. Emmanuel Adebayor
Main Position: Striker. Time With Spurs: 2011-2012, 2012-Present. Initially joining on loan in August 2011 having taken Spurs apart in the Champions League whilst on loan at Real Madrid, former Arsenal player Emmanuel Adebayor signed for Spurs permanently a year later for
£5m. In his loan spell, the Togo striker played 37 times and scored 18 goals, helping Tottenham finish 4th in the Premier League. However, since signing permanently, he has failed to hit those heights, having only scored 8 goals in 34 games. The highlight of his Spurs career came at the end of the 2012-2013 season. Spurs were playing Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in a game they couldn't afford to lose in their (ultimately unsuccessful) quest to qualify for the Champions League. Adebayor ran the full length of the pitch before firing a 25 yard side-footed effort over Petr Cech to equalise for Spurs in a match that ended 2-2. This emphasised just how good Adebayor can be when he's in the mood. Unfortunately, his lackadaisical attitude means that performances of that nature are few and far between.
32. Sandro
Main Position: Defensive Midfielder. Time With Spurs: 2010-Present. The battling Brazilian joined Spurs in 2010, from their commercial partners Internacional, for a rumoured fee of around
£6m. With 17 caps for the Samba boys to his name, and one goal, there is absolutely no denying Sandro's talents. He has, thus far, appeared 80 times for Tottenham (including 64 appearances in the league) and scored twice - including an absolute cracker against Chelsea. His time at the club has been blighted with injuries, so he is yet to have a particularly prolonged individual run in the team, but he has impressed (including in the club's 2010 Champions League run) and is sure to be a star at White Hart Lane for years to come. A likeable character, the fans have affectionately given Sandro the nickname 'Beast', due to his combative style of play.
31. Mousa Dembélé
Main Position: Central Midfielder. Time With Spurs: 2012-Present. Strong Belgian internation midfielder Mousa Dembele signed for Spurs last year in a
£15m deal from Fulham, making him one of the first signings of the Andre Villas-Boas reign. He has since been a regular member of a very good Tottenham first team, making 42 appearances and scoring twice - once on his debut against Norwich City and once in the final minute of a Europa League tie against Lyon to ensure Spurs progressed to the next round. Almost impossible to knock off the ball due to his strength and combative style of play, Dembele is sure to be a key part of Spurs' future and a vital component in a very strong Belgian team that will be looking for honours over the next few years. He has 49 caps to his name and 5 goals for his country.
