It would be foolish to make a list of potential winners for the Golden Boot and not include the man who has wrapped up the title in the last two seasons.

England and Spurs striker Kane seems to be over his August hoodoo, and started September with a bang, knocking in two goals in an impressive win away at Everton.

Kane has become the quickest player to reach 100 Premier League goals in history, outdoing Arsenal’s Thierry Henry by 12 games, a tremendous achievement in itself.

What separates Kane from many other strikers in the league though is his willingness to shoot on sight and take risks. While they might not always come off, Kane often scores out of nothing using this tactic, and if he continues like he is, there’s every chance he can make it a hat trick of Golden Boots
