7 Fights To Make After UFC 248

5. Neil Magny Vs. Michael Chiesa

Despite being forced out of action due for two years due to a USADA sanction, Neil Magny showed absolutely no signs of ring rust at UFC 248. In fact, the well-rounded welterweight put on his best performance ever inside the Octagon.

Whether it was because he's spent the time away sharpening his skills or because he was just dying to fight again, Magny looked far more aggressive than he's ever looked inside the Octagon. His usual grappling skills were on point as he nullified Li Jingliang's attacks, but it was his striking that really impressed us. It was accurate and powerful enough to stun Jingliang a number of times, which is a pretty big upgrade in his game.

While it might seem like it's a bit too soon to put Magny in there with Michael Chiesa, who has been forging his own impressive path in the 170lb division, it would actually be a really intriguing fight. Both men have underrated striking skills and have a very MMA-centric grappling game, so it would be really interesting to see how they adapt to each other.
