7 Fights To Make After UFC 248

1. Isreael Adesanya Vs. Paulo Costa

While the fight between Israel Adesanya and Yoel Romero left a lot to be desired, it's difficult to blame the champion for how the fight went. You can't rely on just one fighter to make a scrap entertaining. Both parties need to get involved and that's not what we got from his latest title defense.

To see the very best of Adesanya, you need an opponent who will be more than willing to engage with him. Luckily for fans around the world, that opponent is undefeated, largely impressive and absolutely willing to throw everything, including the kitchen sink at the Kiwi striker.

Paulo Costa has been extremely impressive since he entered the UFC, finishing every single opponent he's faced before Romero in his last fight. Even though he didn't knockout the Cuban Olympian, it was just as impressive that he was willing to stand toe-to-toe with him.

Both men are on incredible winning streaks and with Adesanya holding the title, it seems like the perfect time to pull the trigger on what could be the defining middleweight title bout of this new generation of MMA fans.
