Mexico's Javier Hernandez was one of the breakout stars of the 2010 World Cup, and he was playing at Old Trafford the following season. At the 2018 World Cup, Hernandez's countryman Hirving Lozano has been one of the tournament's best young stars, and it's highly possible that history could be about to repeat itself.

United are being linked with 22-year-old Lozano, who only made the move to Europe last summer when he joined Dutch side PSV. He had a fantastic season with the Eredivisie team, scoring 17 league goals in 29 games as they marched to the title, and capped off a wonderful year by scoring that brilliant goal against Germany in Mexico's opening World Cup match.

Blessed with remarkable pace and dribbling skills, Lozano has been linked with Everton and Tottenham too, but United seem most likely to make a move. Reports suggest that £35 million could be enough to secure the winger's services, which would be a great bit of business for the Red Devils.
