This deal seemed dead a little while ago, but there's every chance that Nabil Fekir's move from Lyon to Liverpool could come back to life in the days and weeks to come. Lyon's outspoken president, Jean-Michel Aulas, has said that he thinks Fekir will still be at the club next season, but Aulas is known for his mind games and other rumours have suggested the transfer might be back on.

Fekir had agreed terms with Liverpool in a £52 million deal, and Klopp was said to be very frustrated when it all broke down. The Merseyside outfit weren't short for goals last season thanks to their attacking trident of Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino and the excellent Mohamed Salah, but Fekir would give them another option.

The Frenchman has struggled with injuries in the past but has been one of the better players in Ligue 1 for some time now. Strong at set pieces and highly creative, the 24-year-old just enjoyed his best ever season, scoring 18 league goals as Lyon finished third and qualified for the Champions League.
