To go to the Champions home pitch and be the better side is testament to the playing style in which Garry Monk has got them playing.

The solid platform that Federico Fernandez and Ashley Williams provide Swansea is invaluable, feeding the midfield with short passes where they rely on Ki Sung Yueng to retrieve the ball and distribute possession forwards.

The result should give the Swans great confidence that they do not have to change their style of play for anyone.

There will be times this season when Swansea's style of play will come into question, but until that day comes Swansea can take encouragement that they more then matched the best team in the country.

In fact Swansea were unfortunate to come away with the win.
