Remember that Judo school in Brazil? After donating $30,000 to them in March, she returned to Brazil in August to take on Brazilian challenger Bethe Correira. After the two had a heated feud in the media (see above), as expected, Rousey dispatched her with ease, her twelfth straight win in twelve career fights. Despite defeating one of their own, the Brazilian fans got behind her and cheered her, treating her like MMA royalty. To be very clear, that is almost unheard of in Brazil, where they will normally boo any foreign fighter out of the building. However, Rousey repaid their kindness, leaving her belt to Instituto Recao after the victory (the champ is presented with a new belt for each fight). That's a very kind gesture, one perhaps unparalleled in the sport.
