Weight Class: Welterweight The middleweight title challenger Patrick Cote (208) continues his run at welterweight, meeting kickboxing sensation Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson (91) in the second bout of the televised card. Cote is on a three fight win streak since losing a decision to Cung Le in his return fight to the UFC, with two of those wins coming at welterweight. Most recently, Cote looked dominant against Kyle Noke at the Ultimate Fighter Nations: Canada vs. Australia finale. Thompson, meanwhile, is on a three fight win streak of his own, and is the more likely fighter to win via a finish, but where Thompson has struggled has been against strong wrestling, and Cote showed a much-improved wrestling and ground game against Noke his last time out. Unless Wonderboy has greatly upped his takedown defence, this ends in a decision win for "The Predator" Patrick Cote.
